Burrell House provides affordable communal living to students at Portsmouth University. During a recent refurbishment of the communal living areas, Pineapple was chosen to provide robust furniture that would help to create a versatile living area for its students.
Each individual common room has its own distinct colour scheme, and the client was able to use our broad fabric range to complement their design. Our Ohio modular seating was upholstered in 2 fabrics, allowing the back to match the bright feature wall of each space, while the seat retains a neutral palette.
Featuring a strong reinforced seat platform, our compact Skye Tub chair is built to withstand the rigours of everyday life, wrapped up in a clean and modern aesthetic.
The University also selected Cumulus tables for their modern design and easy to clean nature. Our Ryno® dining chair was chosen due to its resilient one-piece construction and easy to clean surface.
The innovative contoured design provides comfort, strength and aids in preventing mishandling. At the start of the project, the client made use of our free sample furniture to help make the right choice and ensure suitability for their environment.
