Fynn Task Light: Reduced-ligature lighting

Thoughtfully designed lighting:

Lighting can play a key role in humanising healthcare spaces, bringing visual warmth and providing a softening effect to the built environment.

Task lighting can be used in conjunction with natural daylight and ambient lighting to provide additional brightness for specific activities like reading and writing. Like all fixtures and fittings in mental health environments, lighting must be sensitively designed to preserve safety by minimising ligature risks, preventing tampering and reducing the likelihood of damage.

Engineered to withstand harsh treatment in challenging environments, Fynn features a strong cast aluminium construction and a durable powder coated finish. The subtly sloped design helps to reduce ligature risks, and security fixings deter tampering.

Fynn’s long-lasting energy efficient LEDs reduce maintenance needs, and users have control over the light’s brightness through a tactile touch-sensitive dimming function.
