We’re expanding the established Ryno® range with the introduction of Ryno® Kino, a compact, contemporary seating collection designed for challenging environments where durability, comfort, hygiene and efficient use of space are essential.
Available as both a chair and armchair, Ryno® Kino features a distinctive cylindrical profile and a supportive 459mm dining-height seat, making it particularly well suited to dining, communal and social spaces. Manufactured from rotationally moulded LDPE, Kino offers a strong, seamless and water-resistant construction that is hygienic, non-porous and easy to clean. The material is also UV stabilised and 100% recyclable.
To meet different environmental and security requirements, Ryno® Kino is available in unweighted and weighted models, with a hidden hard floor-fixing option also available. An optional 180° swivel with floor fixing provides controlled movement while keeping the chair securely anchored in position. The swivel function can support easier access and may also aid sensory regulation by providing a controlled form of movement while seated.
Designed for demanding environments, Ryno® Kino has been strength and stability tested to BS EN 16139:2013 Level 2 for severe contract use, alongside a range of fire-retardancy, antibacterial and performance standards associated with the wider Ryno® range. A broad selection of core and non-core colours also allows Kino to be specified to complement a variety of interior schemes.
With its compact footprint, robust construction and flexible specification options, Ryno® Kino seating provides a versatile new solution for mental healthcare and other challenging environments.
