Awards

Innovation is at the very heart of what we do, and we're proud to have been recognised by organisations across the world for our award-winning furniture.

Boden Rocker

Designed in association with HDR Architecture and with input from users and caregivers, the Boden Rocker is designed to allow users to control how much vestibular input they receive, and to do so in a position which is low to the ground, making them feel safe and in control of their situation.

The innovative design of the Rocker was recognised by winning Gold in the 2024 Healthcare Design Awards (Product Innovation Category) as well as Gold and Innovation at the 2023 Nightingale Awards (Patient Seating Category).

Arc

Held each year at the Healthcare Design Conference, The Nightingale Awards recognise excellence and innovation in healthcare product design.

In 2024, our Arc Basin was awarded Gold in the Behavioral Health Bathroom Fittings & Furnishings category for its seamless design and innovative safety features which include sensor-operated taps and a unique invisible fixing system.

SEAL

Seal combines high-tech materials with minimalist design principles to create a soft, water-resistant chair with no opportunities for concealment. Seal has won the following awards, with judges noting “a simple but effective design creating a really good product”.

  • Design in Mental Health award for Product Innovation

Ryno® Wall Bed and Desk

Held each year at the Healthcare Design Conference, The Nightingale Awards recognise excellence and innovation in healthcare product design.

In 2024, our Ryno Wall bed and Wall desk were awarded Silver in the Anti-Ligature & Reduced-Ligature Furnishings category for their innovative designs which integrate seamlessly into a space while helping to maximise valuable floor space.

Ryno® Oceangreen

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment, and the use of recycled materials is an important way of reducing carbon emissions associated with the extraction and processing of virgin material.

Our Ryno OceanGreen range, which makes use of recycled fishing nets, was recognised for “Excellent Product Design” at the 2024 German Design Awards in the Mental, Rehabilitation and Health Care category.

Levo

Activated by body weight alone, Levo is a unique recliner designed for environments where safety is paramount. With no external controls and a concealed mechanism, Levo is designed to minimise ligature risks.

Levo was recognised for “Excellent Product Design” at the 2025 German Design Awards in the Mental, Rehabilitation and Health Care category, with the judges commenting “Levo combines comfort and functionality with a clear, unobtrusive design that integrates seamlessly into demanding environments.”
