The Trentino region celebrated the opening of two new mental health facilities, including a dedicated centre for adolescents facing serious psychological difficulties. This marks a significant step in the region’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community-based psychiatric care. The adolescent centre offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment for young people navigating periods of acute psychological distress.
Pineapple was proud to support this vital project by supplying a range of robust, therapeutic furniture, specifically designed to meet the complex needs of young people in acute settings.
The facility will support adolescents experiencing significant mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviours, and severe psychiatric conditions. By offering immediate access to specialised care, it serves as a critical bridge between home, school, and longer-term mental health support.
Developed with a clear vision to provide care that is inclusive and respectful of individual dignity, the new centre in Arco translates this philosophy into practice. Working closely with project leaders and healthcare professionals, Pineapple helped shape therapeutic spaces that feel both secure and empowering for young residents.
