Pineapple is proud to announce that our Ryno® range has been awarded the Clean Air Gold Certification by Intertek. This prestigious certification confirms that Ryno products meet stringent low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions standards, contributing to healthier indoor environments.
Achieving this certification also supports WELL and LEED points*, making the Ryno range an excellent choice for customers prioritising well-being and sustainability.
Our Ryno range is crafted from 99% low-density polyethylene (LDPE), making it fully recyclable. When products reach the end of their lifecycle, they can be returned to us, broken down into fine granules, and repurposed into new Ryno® products.
This commitment significantly reduces landfill waste. According to multiple sources, recycling just one tonne of plastic can conserve over 2,500 litres of crude oil and 5,774 kWh of energy—reinforcing our dedication to environmental responsibility.
This award highlights our efforts to make products that not only meet the needs of our clients, but that are environmentally conscious and sustainable. As our products evolve, so do our environmental standards, which is why as a company, we have set an ambitious short-term target to achieve a 56% reduction of total carbon emissions by 2030 and a net zero target by 2050.
Intertek, a global leader in Total Quality Assurance, provides VOC and indoor air quality testing through its Clean Air Programme. This programme independently certifies products against leading sustainability standards, including ANSI/BIFMA e3 standard credit 7.6.1,7.6.2 and 7.6.3, California CDPH, California DGS, USGBC LEED and WELL credits.
WELL Certification prioritises human health and well-being in indoor environments.
LEED Certification focuses on environmental impact and sustainable building practices.
