With this in mind, our expert team have produced the Zen chair range. This range boasts a luxurious flowing design with a robust and durable finish. The reclining shape allows the user to sit back and relax – promoting wellbeing.
The Zen chair also doubles-up as an ideal de-escalation seat as users are unable to stand quickly from a sitting position and staff are able to attend to the user from each side of the chair.
There are no sharp edges or ligature points and the inner material is made from one piece of foam to minimise any risk of the chair being used as a weapon. The standard weight is 20kg allowing the chair to be easily moved if desired. Although, additional weighting is optional for high-secure environments to stop the chair being picked up and weaponised.
